Welding Automation Systems for Tank Construction

On-site delivery of welding equipment
We deliver and support heavy industrial welding equipment, including submerged arc welding (SAW) systems and SAW 121 machines for automated tank welding and large-scale tank construction projects. Our solutions are designed for tank bottom welding, tank floor welding and circumferential seam welding, ensuring precision, efficiency and consistent weld quality in storage tanks and refinery tanks.
As part of our welding equipment rental services, we provide fully operational tank welding automation systems, delivered directly to your site and commissioned by our technical team. All equipment is ready for immediate use, with setup, calibration and ongoing support included.
We also offer the rental of qualified welding personnel experienced in SAW welding, automated welding systems and industrial tank welding. Our services cover equipment delivery, installation, maintenance and certified operators for petrochemical, energy and steel construction projects across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

DK3 STEFFEN AUTOMAT
An advanced automated tank welding system designed for circumferential welding of cylindrical storage and refinery tanks with a minimum radius of 4000 mm.
It operates using the SAW 121 submerged arc welding process, optimized for high-precision tank bottom welding and circumferential seam welding, with a single electrode wire from 1.6 to 3.2 mm.
The integrated 840 A DC welding power source ensures stable operation and sufficient power reserve, even when welding thick tank shell sections in petrochemical and energy projects.

WELDING POWER SOURCE MAHE 840 DC
MAHE 840 DC is a remote-controlled, three-phase industrial welding power source designed for high-efficiency mechanized and automated welding processes, including submerged arc welding (SAW).
It supports both gas-shielded welding (MIG/MAG) and SAW 121 applications, making it ideal for industrial tank construction, tank floor welding and heavy steel fabrication.
Built for reliability in demanding environments such as petrochemical plants and energy facilities.

Automat for Bottom welding Trac ST - 1
A compact automatic machine for tank bottom welding and tank floor welding, suitable for butt and fillet welds in large steel storage tanks.
The adjustable welding head (45°–135°) allows fast setup, while the compact design enables transport through a manhole, making it ideal for on-site tank welding projects.
Electronic control ensures stable wire feed and travel speed, supporting consistent weld quality in automated tank welding systems.

Circumferential welding with mini-automat
A compact and highly versatile circumferential welding automat designed for automated tank welding in industrial tank construction.
It operates on both tracks and guide rails, making it ideal for Jacket and Spiral tank construction methods, widely used in refinery tanks and petrochemical facilities.
Electronic control provides stable wire feed and travel speed, with programmable welding parameters for precision submerged arc welding (SAW) applications.
